Possibility to choose a seat in the Theater room

I find the default seat in the Theater room is too close from the screen, I'd love to be able to choose the seat I want !

Yes this would be pretty cool to have so you can move up or down the middle row until you find the perfect spot for that cinema screen.

As far as I know, the ideal seat in any (physical) theatre is exactly where your seat is in the theatre environment; the middle seat in the middle row. Everything is designed around that ideal seat, and every seat further from that, the further from the sweet spot you are in terms of viewing angle and speaker position.

That said, the theatre environment feels very short and relatively steep to me; to match some of the cinemas I've been in, it would need somewhere between 2-3 times as many rows, and it feels like I have to look up slightly to get the screen in my centre of vision.

As far as I know, one of the design rules for cinemas is that, for a person in the middle seat in the middle row, of average height, if they look dead ahead, the screen should nearly fill their field of view.

I agree with this. Especially the home cinema. The seat is to the right of the screen and it's uncomfortable for long periods of time. Move the drinks and just let us sit in the center.
