Binural Audio with fixed point speakers

Add speakers that can be positioned in 3D space similar to 5.1 surround systems. Use binural audio for 3D sound effects.

This would be amazing for Virtual Desktop. It would make movie and music watching much more immersive and more like being in the virtual space instead of looking at it while listening to headphones.

Version 1.10 added this for Rift through a “Positional Audio” option. Vive and WMR headsets will be able to use this in a future version.
