Nature environment

It is scientifically proven that being in nature and having plants (even fake ones) is good for your health and well-being. So would be amazing to have some sort of nature environment for us to work in

I have buy the Virtual Desktop on quest app store and also load the patch from sidequest. I'm planing to play alyx via virtual desktop, but finally I found I can not connect to my PC. I'm tried alvr, at least I can connect to the alvr server...

Treat SidexSide like 360 videos where after a moment of inactivity it turns on/off

One approach to make SxS content better would be to do it like you do with 360 Videos and Photos. When in SxS mode have the option to have the mouse snap you back into regular Desktop mode and then when the mouse "settles" switch to SxS mode....

Show all connected monitors

I have three monitors and two graphics cards. I can see the two connected to the same card as my HMD but I can't see the third. It would be great to see them all.

Timed backgrounds so that you can watch a movie and the background can change with the scenes.

Think Starwars with a space background while in space and a snowy scene on Hoth. A timeline with different backgrounds that anyone can configure with time lengths.

Make virtual screens move to reduce head rotation with multiple displays

use VR motion controller to push/drag screen further/closer

Instead of changing the screen distance in the VD control panel, simply use the motion controller and it's way more intuitive, and one step closer to revolutionize the pc user interface.

Hotkey for Curved/flat mode:

A keyboard button/combination for switching the viewscreen between Curved and Flat. I usually map all the hotkeys to controller buttons using inputmapper/Joy2Key/Xbox360CE. Very nice for zooming/recentering the view.

Lay on my back and have it display above me. What's the point of a virtual desktop if you have to look in a certain direction?

As far as I can tell, it only repositions on the x axis. I'd also like an easier method to zoom in or out to look at something closely.

Be able to move the screen up and down in NON floating mode

While floating mode is great, you are not able to keep the angle of the screen at a right angle to the ground. What would be really useful would be the ability to alter the height of the virtual screen in themes where the desktop canvas is not...

SDK support so that we can create Multiplayer VR experiences using Virtual Desktop service

Stream directly to oculus go via usb cable. For standstill be games such as tabletop simulator

A mode where your mouse controlled by headset to play 2D games in 360, like trinus

You could play games like Portal 2, Call of duty, Minecraft, or other first 2D person games in 360 if (Like TrinusVR) you ads a mode where the headset movement controls the mouse. It's simple, but it will add a lot of opportunity for users.
